OURF presents a list of those individuals and organizations that have received funding from OUREI and OURF.  A decision to grant funding to an organization or individual is made after OURF advisors have an opportunity to review and evaluate the merits of a proposal submitted to OURF.  Disbursal of funds occurs once the recipient agrees to the terms of the grant.

May 2008 - $3,000 - OUREI Indonesia- for establishing a Jakarta-based scholarship program to be administered by OUREI Indonesia.

November 2007 - US$5000 - Sumatran Orangutan Society - for initial support of a jointly funded mobile "Road Show" program where quality documentaries will be shown in villages and communities on the border of Gunung Leuser National Park during 2008.

September 2007 -US$2,000- Club Peduli Orang Utan Indonesia-North Sumatra chapter- to purchase laptop computer, digital projector, screen, digital camera, and all-in-one printer. Equipment will be used in delivering education programs to schools and other target groups as determined during the Sumatran Orangutan Education Conference, Workshop and Summit, Nov. 2006.

June 2007 -US$1,000 - David Dellatore- for support of research on the relationship between orangutan behavior and increased levels of parasitism. Awarded as a recipient of the LP Jenkins Memorial Fellowship, June 2007.

April 2007 - Rp 2.000.000 - Club Peduli Orang Utan Indonesia-North Sumatra chapter - for administrative support.

March 2007 - US$1,700- Sumatran Orangutan Society - for Indonesian forestry and biology student tuition and internship program (4-years Forestry; 3-years Biology). Called the Orangutan Caring Scholarship, it was awarded to Gian Anas from the Forestry Department and Sri Roma Yuliarti Siregar from the Biology Department on April 5, 2007.

March, May & October 2007 - US$29,631- Consortium of NGOs: Sumatran Orangutan Conservation Programme, Sumatran Orangutan Society, Club Peduli Orangutan-North Sumatran chapter, Fauna & Flora International- for printing of education materials and first & second installment of funds to deliver curricula approved during November 2006 Workshop and Summit.

November 2006 - Club Peduli Orang Utan Indonesia-Jakarta- new laptop computer for use in developing education programs and supporting the mission of OUREI.

November 2006 - US$500 - Club Peduli Orang Utan Indonesia-North Sumatra chapter - for support of their poster, drawing, and coloring contest to raise awareness about orangutans.

December 2005 - US$650 - Sumatran Orangutan Society - for Indonesian forestry student tuition and internship program (4-years). Called the Orangutan Caring Scholarship, it was awarded to Syarifah Lia Andriaty on March 6, 2006 .
