#FREETOBEWILD

CAMPAIGN CHALLENGE

Duyok, the big male orangutan to the far left is our poster-ape and stand-in for the free orangutans wandering in the forests of Borneo and Sumatra. But he wasn't always free. Duyok was once a captive pet - illegally taken from his mother who was killed as a pest, kept in a human household, then confiscated to be returned to the wild.

Stand up for Duyok and the thousands of other excaptive orangutans who are looking for freedom in the forests as well as the wild orangutans who should remain free and wild.

Take Action & Share the Dream in our campaign

HOW TO TAKE THE CHALLENGE

No ice buckets needed!  Just download Duyok's image and hashtag #FreetobeWild  and print onto some recycled paper. Then take a selfie with the picture and tweet it with #FreetobeWild with some other inspiring words (see examples below).  If you have an orangutan doll, you can do the same thing... take a selfie with the doll and tweet it with #FreetobeWild.

OUR MISSION AND DREAM

We want to raise awareness about the orangutan and its plight. We won't be satisfied until orangutans are free and wild. This is our time to use the power of social media to engage the public in learning about the truth. Orangutans are critically endangered may become extinct if we do not take action. We start by telling others of our Free to be Wild Campaign Challenge.
